Many tips and ideas on Upgrade Me are immediate and practical, (we know you’re busy!) but at the end of the day, life isn’t about answering email more efficiently or working more.

The point of boosting productivity is to spend less time at work, so you have more time for the things that matter to you.

We all have some aspect of ourselves or our lives we’d like to upgrade. For some people it’s losing weight. Other people want more time to spend with friends and family, or to start a business and increase their income.

There are hundreds of theories and complex systems out there, but lack of information isn’t the problem.  Often we know exactly what to do; the real challenge is getting yourself to do it, and then sticking to it until you win.

Take physical fitness for example.  You know in your head which foods are healthy to eat.  If you’re out of shape, it’s not because you lost an epic 3-day battle with a million calorie cupcake, but over hundreds of little battles, when you say “aw, just one more” when something yummy was in front of you.

Over time, these little battles of willpower add up.  They determine who’s healthy and who’s out of shape, who’s in debt and who is wealthy, who conquers mountains in their work and who ends their day quietly angry at themselves for not doing more.

That’s where we want to help.

We want you to win the little battles, so you win the big ones.  The ones that matter.
